Mini-Grants Available for MLK Jr. Day Volunteer Projects *Deadline Extended*

Is your nonprofit organizing a volunteer event on Martin Luther King Jr. Day? If so, apply now for a mini-grant to support your MLK project!

The Regional Volunteer Center of the Southern Tier is now accepting applications from nonprofit organizations for grants up to $250 to fund service projects during the week of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; January 18-25, 2014.

**Deadline extended to Friday, December 27, 2013.** All nonprofits are eligible to apply.

The application can be completed online. Agencies receiving funding will be notified on Friday, January 10, 2014.

The Regional Volunteer Center of the Southern Tier is a collaboration designed to promote and enhance volunteer efforts in our community and throughout our region. Under the leadership of United Way of Broome County, the Institute for Human Services, and United Way of Tompkins County, local non-profits are coming together to create a partnerships to enhance and strengthen volunteering.
