Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter

Who We Are

The Alzheimer's Association, Central New York Chapter provides programs and services to support the community in a 14 county region.  We provide educational programs, safety services, support groups and provide a link to many community resources.  The Chapter also raises funds to help support our programing, as well as fund research.

What We Do

The Alzheimer’s Association, Central New York Chapter is the only organization in our region dedicated to the elimination of Alzheimer's disease and the support of individuals who have been diagnosed with it. The Chapter was founded in August 1982, the result of a local community seeking more informaton about Alzheimer's disease.

A local organization formed and began offering support groups, educational programs and a telephone information line soon thereafter, and in 1983 was adopted by the national Alzheimer's Association.

Our mission

To eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.

Our vision
A world without Alzheimer's disease.
